GLASS ARTS SOCIETY MASTER CLASS

Coming directly from the Glass Arts Society’s 44th Annual Conference in June, nationally known glass artist Ed Schmid will conduct a weeklong master class at The Crucible! This action-packed, history-filled intensive will explore popular methods of glassmaking from the past two millennia, from small pitchers, perfume bottles and “snuffs”— suggestive of core-formed vessels (complete with a “feathering motif”) — to works of the Cristallo-era and beyond. June 8-12 and enrollment is limited.

YOUTH SUMMER CAMPS

The Crucible offers an incredible variety of Youth Summer Camps across six 1-week sessions in June, July and August. These are all open for enrollment.

FRIDAY NIGHT FIRESIDE CLASSES: May 22 & June 19

Spend an evening learning hands-on skills, followed by a social drink with your classmates to compare notes and chill out! Choose from six entry-level disciplines: blacksmithing, glass flameworking, glass fusing, jewelry, leather or MIG welding. May 22 or June 19, 6:30-10pm.
