| Crucible
Facts:
- The Crucible is a nonprofit
organization. Tuition covers 40% of our operating
expenses.
The remainder comes from gifts, grants
and from members like you.
- Our 56,000 square foot West
Oakland facility is home to 500 fine and fire arts
classes annually.
- Our faculty is made up of
more than 75 professional artists, trades people
and educators.
- The Crucible’s Youth
Education Program aims to serve 2,000 young people
annually through field trips, workshops and interactive
demos that merge art, industry and science.
- More than 1,000 Crucible
volunteers log an average of 700 hours every month.
Tax deductibility of your membership
is subject to change based on the fair market value
of benefits taken.
