The Crucible's Fire Ballet: Grand Gala Finale

The Crucible Celebrates its Eighth Anniversary with

The Most Excellent and Lamentable Tragedy of

THE GRAND GALA FINALE— January 20, 2007
A Night to Remember

THE LEGENDARY TALE of star-crossed lovers has never been told like this before. In the dazzling tradition of The Crucible’s Fire Operas, this first-ever Fire Ballet is a sizzling synthesis of dance and fire—choreographed by one of the West Coast’s most exciting, young choreographers and set to the passionate and powerful score of Sergei Prokofiev. Classically trained ballet dancers share the stage with fire performers, while aerialists soar overhead. Capulets and Montagues stage their brawls with urban dance and Capoeira in explosive fight scenes.
