Joey Gottbrath is an artist,
teacher and senior studio manager at the Crucible.
He currently teaches at California College of the
Arts, and Diablo Valley College. He received his
MFA from Arizona State University, where he taught
foundry and woodworking for three years. He has
also taught at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Aspen,
where he helped to build the new woodturning facility,
and sculpture classes at Scottsdale Community College
foundry. His experiences range from furniture making
and woodturning to cupola building and iron pours.
