Info |
Multiple artists
may share a booth or table but all participating
artists' work must be juried in advance. We
will accept full payment for a booth from only
one person, however. The Crucible reserves the
right to refuse booth space to anyone.
After receiving your application and fees, and
upon approval, The Crucible will assign booths
a 10' frontage, 10' deep, back against the south
wall and 8' frontage, 6' deep, back against
the raised floor of the main studio area. You
provide all that you will need: chairs, tables,
booth, and garbage can. Electricity is available
with prior arrangement.
The Crucible is a working metal shop. Our foundry
staff will perform a live bronze pour during
this event. The foundry furnace will be on for
45 minutes prior to the pour. It is not a quiet
piece of machinery and those with an unusual
sensitivity to noise, such as those with hearing
aids, may want to arrange for placement away
from the foundry area. Please let us know ahead

Crucible Staff and Volunteers will be there
to help with any problems. Their shirts will
say "The Crucible" on them. They are
in communication with security, police and medical
staff for handling any serious problems.

activity behind your table. Firecrackers or
"snap-pop" type products, individual
booth sound systems, food sales, food sampling,
alcohol, or any hazardous or dangerous products

or live animals are allowed.
