Goodman, with original score by Clark Suprynowicz. Produced by Michael Sturtz. The World Premiere of “2012: A Space Oddity” A Fire Ballet ™
January 11-14 and 17-21, 2012
A campy sci-fi comedy conceived and directed by Michael Sturtz, Space Oddity will make you laugh out loud and gasp in amazement. Combining the usual unusual pyro effects with the best of SF’s circus arts and ballet dancers, it will also include some wild surprise stunts. The original script will be a raucous journey through all your favorite sci-fi classics while poking fun at contemporary sexual politics and politicians. Building on the same startling genre-bending combos that made Firebird and Dracul so memorable, Space Oddity will also feature a never-before-seen ballet pas-de-deux and even more awesome industrial arts effects. So hold on to your bubble helmets folks, this one is worth the wait.
