Jason Krist hails from Santa Rosa, California. His aquaintance with fire began during his former profession as a chef in San Francisco. During a break form cooking, he took welding classes and developed an interest in metalwork, culminating in blacksmithing. He is also a member and baker at Arizmendi Cooperative in Oakland. Jason is proud to say that he has finally fulfilled his lifelong career goals of becoming a butcher, a baker and a candlestick-maker.
