Youth and Adult Jewelry Instructor

Kim Emilianowicz Mirus is an educator and an artist who earned a B.A. in Art Education as well as a B.F.A. in Crafts: Jewelry, Metals & Enameling. She began metalsmithing over a decade ago, and while she enjoys all jewelry techniques, she is especially interested in casting. Creating with recycled and sustainable materials is an integral part of all her work, and the carefully selected materials are a fundamental element of her nature inspired art. In addition to her passion for casting, Kim is dedicated to teaching youth from all backgrounds, and she especially enjoys working with those who are incarcerated or on probation. She has taught a plethora of art forms to diverse K-12 students and adults. She is passionate about helping everyone learn through the arts regardless of their age, interests, abilities, or circumstances.
