Maker Faire Madness at The Crucible
KRON4 came to The Crucible this fall and spent a day filming makers, artists and youth, capturing some of the excitement and creativity that comes pouring out when people start working with their hands and having fun.
The Cup Class
Long-time Crucible faculty Kier Lugo and Arlo Fishman star in this immensely popular video demonstrating the ins and outs of making glass cups in The Crucible’s hot shop. You can sign up for the cup class here.
No room for weeknight classes? Weekends are a great way to get your creative on. Many students prefer these classes as a way to “stay in the zone” while learning a new skill or technique. There are plenty of beginner classes in blacksmithing, glass blowing, jewelry making, MIG welding, LED’s and much more.
For only $135, try a fun, exciting exploration of industrial arts with the commitment to a full weekend or weeknight schedule of classes. Fall session tasters all take place the weekend of Dec. 6 & 7.
The first fall classes began Sept. 20, and there are lots of opportunities to find something fun and creative to do with your hands and mind. Check out the online class schedule below, or download the interactive PDF of the catalog. We have plenty of great weekend options, and three-hour tasters for complete beginners. Some classes are full already, so sign up now.
