Celeste Christie studied Enameling as California College of the Arts in Oakland, where she earned a BFA in 2006 in Jewelry/Metal Arts. She has since gone on to become Production Manager at Mark Poulin Jewelry in Oakland. Her work has been featured at Velvet da Vinci Gallery in San Francisco and Museo Franz Mayer in Mexico City. Celeste is also co-founder of the collaborative organization Art for a Democratic Society, who has created public participatory art at Southern Exposure Gallery in San Francisco, Rock Paper Scissors Gallery in Oakland, and on the street at Oakland’s First Friday. She loves living in the Fruitvale district of Oakland.
