  INTEREST AND EXPERIENCE

What type of volunteering are you interested in?  You can check more than one.

Block Time Volunteers – A regular weekly schedule of four or more hours.  This is a great way to accrue hours for discounts off classes.  Work on a variety of Crucible projects in the studio or help out in the office.

Studio     Office

Youth Volunteers – Our Extensive Youth Program has a variable schedule that can include weekends, after school & daytime hours, etc.  Individuals who have experience with children and a desire to help with our community youth program are encouraged to apply.   Bicycle mechanic and welding skills are particularly useful, but not necessary.

Special Event Volunteers   Event volunteers staff our events.  Duties might include working the door, general security, bartending, fire safety, set up, etc.  Our events include Fire Arts Festival, Open Houses, Fire Ballets & Fashion Shows.

Transfer of Volunteer – Volunteers can pre-arrange to donate their volunteer hours to scholarship pool or another specified individual.  Volunteers must complete the Transfer of Volunteer Hours form prior to actually volunteering the hours they wish to donate.
