Youth Return To The Crucible For 2022 Summer Camps—See The Pics!

Every summer, our studio comes alive as youth summer campers return for week-long offerings in the industrial arts. This summer, students will have the opportunity to cast metal, fuse glass, mold clay, and so much more. In just the first week of camps, we’ve already seen some incredible projects come to life, including abstract metal sculptures, colorful glass vases, and beautiful, hand-crafted jewelry. And for the first time since 2019, students gathered for a Friday Gallery Walk to share their finished projects with staff, faculty, and other students.
You can see all the magic from our 2022 Youth Summer Camps in the gallery below. Throughout the summer we’ll be adding photos from each week of camp, documenting processes and projects from our youngest makers. There are still a handful of Youth Summer Camp spots available in classes like Youth Chibi: Miniature Figurines, Youth Leather Working, and Youth Glass Flameworking I.
