Buy Art Direct From Artists Who Need Your Support

Studio closures around The Bay Area have had a major impact on the maker community. Our working artists—whether they sell original art, depend on commission work, or are regular instructors in our classrooms—have lost their main sources of income due to Covid-19 shutdowns.

As we fundraise to support our organization’s longevity, we also want to directly help our working artists stay afloat until we can get our studio up and running again. We’ve partnered with Replate and other community members to ensure food access for staff and faculty and are working to secure other forms of financial relief. Making a donation to The Crucible or becoming a member will help ensure The Crucible survives this closure, but we also encourage Crucible supporters and art lovers to consider buying directly from one of our many amazing artists.

If you have a dream project in mind, many of the artists on this page are also available for commission work.
