Bike Fix-A-Thon – Drop Off
Join us for our September Bike Fix-A-Thon! The Crucible is offering free, community bike maintenance as safely as we can. West Oakland and neighboring community members are invited to bring their bikes to our studio for a tune-up.
Drop your bike off with The Crucible on Sunday, 9/27/20 between 12-3pm. We are able to accept up to 30 bikes so it is first-come, first-served. Unlike in Fix-A-Thons past, participants will leave their bikes at The Crucible during the time of service. We will not be fixing and returning bikes to individuals on the same day. Bikes will be worked on over the next week, and available for pick up upon confirmation the week following.
Masks are required when dropping off bikes.
Do not come to The Crucible if you are feeling unwell or anyone in your household has been exposed to COVID-19 in the past two weeks. Please refer to our Health and Safety Guidelines if you have any other questions about our studio protocols.
We know what a safe bike can do for our neighbors, and studies show that extends beyond individual impact. Communities that bike are safer, healthier, and happier.
