Virtual GIFTY: Shop Unique Local Artisanal Gifts
This has been an especially challenging year for makers and small businesses. So we knew it was important to continue our 17-year-long tradition of GIFTY, our annual craft show. But this year, for the first time, GIFTY is going virtual.
Starting November 9, we’ll be highlighting over 80 Bay Area makers and small businesses selling things like original jewelry, handcrafted soaps, sculpted glassware, and so much more. A number of our vendors have also generously donated items to our Giving Back At GIFTY program, with 100% of funds raised going toward Crucible programs.
Choose to support local artists and businesses this holiday season by shopping The Crucible’s Virtual GIFTY for all your holiday gifts!
The promotions associated with Virtual GIFTY have ended, but you are welcome to continue using this as a reference page for amazing artists in the local Bay Area to support throughout the year!
Giving Back at GIFTY
These select 2020 GIFTY vendors were sweet enough to donate a few of their items to The Crucible to sell directly with 100% of proceeds benefiting The Crucible’s Industrial Arts Programming. You can see the rest of their great art pieces and products directly on their websites, linked in our full vendor list below.
All Giving Back at GIFTY products have shipping charges included or there is a note indicating that they must be picked up during one of The Crucible’s curbside pick-up days.

Many of our 2020 Virtual GIFTY vendors are offering Crucible-exclusive discounts on their online stores! On November 9, you can download our GIFTY discount guide, featuring information about participating vendors’ exclusive Crucible-sales, curbside pick-up days at The Crucible, and important information about when select vendors are closing down for the holiday season.
All Crucible apparel and merchandise and Giving Back at GIFTY items can be picked up on-site at The Crucible at our curbside pick-up day Saturday, December 5, 11am-5pm.
After December 5, all customers who wish to pick up their online purchases on-site at The Crucible can coordinate with Crucible staff individually, who are happy to accommodate. Due to the Alameda County stay-at-home order, the pick-up day originally scheduled for Saturday, December 12 has been cancelled.
