Join us on Saturday, March 2 for the inaugural West Oakland Bike Summit.

The West Oakland Bike Summit is an opportunity for bike lovers of all ages to come together, connect with the community, and learn more about local bike resources. Enjoy free bike repairs, panel discussions, local vendors, a group ride, food, drinks, and so much more.

The event will be held just down the street from The Crucible in the lot at 1300 7th Street. We’re very excited to kick off this event during our 25th anniversary year. Grab your friends and family and wheel see you there!

Youth can enter to win a free refurbished ride from our Bike Shop.

Volunteer at the West Oakland Bike Summit

Crucible events are only possible with support from our volunteers. In exchange for donated time, volunteers earn discounts on classes, studio access, and other valuable perks.

We’re looking for folks to help us prep for, run, and break down our event.

To make our event more accessible to our community members, we are also looking for help translating fliers into the most widely spoken languages in the Bay Area:

Arabic

How to Get to the West Oakland Bike Summit

There will be plenty of bike parking available at The Summit. 1300 7th Street is conveniently located near BART and AC Transit. We encourage public transportation.

BART

From the West Oakland BART Station: exit onto 7th Street, cross to the westbound side of the street, turn right, and walk 1.5 blocks east toward Union Street. Enter the event at 1300 7th Street just before The Crucible. To plan your BART trip, visit www.bart.gov.

Parking

Limited street parking is available throughout the neighborhood.

Do not park in lots owned by local businesses. Your car may be towed.
