We are still riding high from GIFTY 2017 this weekend! We set an all-time-high event attendance record, with over 3,500 attendees. Over 70 local artists and Crucible faculty sold their work, making for perfect holiday shopping, and our expert faculty gave demonstrations. Villa Rocio kept us well fed with their delicious tacos and the bar staff kept us warm and cozy with homemade hot cider. We were lucky enough to be serenaded by Caroline McCaskey’s original singing saw Christmas music. The kids were busy decorating cookies and participating in our vendor scavenger hunt to win a bike. With appearances by Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf and Santa Claus, this was certainly an unforgettable weekend! Thank you to all of our amazing vendors, attendees, faculty, staff, volunteers for making GIFTY 2017 so special. We hope to see you in the studio soon!
