Our studios are still buzzing from GIFTY 2018 this weekend! We set an all-time-high event attendance record, with over 4,100 attendees. 69 local artists and Crucible faculty sold their work, making for perfect holiday shopping, and our expert faculty gave demonstrations. Our neighbors from Jeepney Guy kept us well fed with their delicious Filipino food and the bar staff kept us warm and cozy with homemade hot toddy’s and mulled wine. The kids were busy decorating cookies and participating in our vendor scavenger hunt to win a bike. This was certainly an unforgettable weekend! Thank you to all of our amazing vendors, attendees, faculty, staff, volunteers for making GIFTY 2018 so special. “When you fall for The Crucible, you fall hard,” Executive Director Susan Mernit shared as she toasted to our community at GIFTY Member Preview night. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. We hope to see you in the studio soon!
