Youth Guidelines

Please note!

Parents must accompany youth to the first day of class and must bring a completed parental consent and medical authorization form to the first class. Youth will not be able to participate without a completed parental consent form for each class.

Youth 12 and older can sign up with Adults for any Family Fun class. At the time of registration, the name of the youth under 18 and date of birth must be communicated. A parental consent form must be filled out and brought with the student to the first class.

Youth 16 and older can sign up for an adult class with the consent of the instructor, either in person or over the phone, using the youth’s name and date of birth.

If your child will be in class all day, they should bring a sack lunch. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided.

The Crucible does not allow weapon-making in youth classes.

Please notify staff of ANY physical, social, behavioral or emotional health conditions.

The Crucible provides daily Youth After Care for students enrolled in youth camps, for an extra charge. You can select a 1-hour option (4-5pm) or a 2-hour option (4-6pm), running for the entire week of the selected camp. Youth After Care is supervised by a youth staff member and is intended to allow extra time for working parents to wrap up their work days. We encourage you to pre-register. If you do not pre-register, a fee of $20 per half-hour will be charged for any parent arriving late after 4:30. Childcare before camps begin is not provided.
